can we just take a moment and just admire the colouring? Because THIS is the icon I look to everytime I want to be exciting with colour - because its different and beautiful and subtle and GAH! don't forget to adire the colouring on the sky, and the perfect postioning of the text!

The black makes a nice, bold statement--it isn't just a space filler, it works with the mood of the picture, and the techniques involved in making it don't take away from the overall 'thrust' of the picture. You've got good taste in icons.
