My mother is home from the hospital today, which is awesome, though it's a couple of days later then she hoped. She's glad to be home - away from boring food and white sheets and too much air conditioning, though now she has to put up with Ruby and my teasing. I think she, for once, might be enjoying it. My aunt and uncle are coming to visit tomorrow (today? I guess so seeing its past 12. I'm not one with the time - we don't get along) and I have, finally, a day off - which is nice since I'm working 6 days next week, once again I have Sunday off - which is yum because it means sleep ins and all morning paper reading. I love the paper.  

Prison Break was shown on TV this week - I'm very much intrigued, but also conflicted - House will be shown on channel 10 at the same time starting next week! What to do! I guess I'll have to tape Prison Break - how mundane - and watch House, because I need, need, need the second season of House - even though I only get like four weeks of it! (Why did I decided to leave the country again? During rating season too!). Veronica Mars and Gilmore girls are being taken off the air this week as well - things are certainly happening in teevee land - and some not for the better! I am so addicted to VM I sometimes can't breathe! I need it! And I can't afford to buy it now! When I get back maybe - hopefully!

Gilmore Girls was so enjoyable tonight - I want to see more, no I neeed  to see more! I tempted to buy GG as well - because I'm addicted to DVDs - especially box sets. I actually haven't brought a movie DVD in... well months! Except of course the Serenity DVD which I order and will arrive in three days! I am so excited! Though I still haven't gotten my Firefly DVDs back get. I pine; I need them so badly it hurts! Its been THREE MONTHS!!! Oh gosh, I want them back so bad! I'm forgetting lines! I had to look up an episode title the other day! I'm fading! (I've also been watching The O.C - hence the DRAMA!!! thing I've got going)

Hee, it's pretty hard to schedule RL around tv ratings period! And I am so tempted to buy GG season 5, but I think I'm restraining myself at the moment. Just. Excited about Serenity though! And dude, just go and steal your Firefly DVDs back.

Yeah - really TV should schedule its time around me! I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY TOOK AWAY GG!!! i WANTED MORE JUMPING OFF THINGS!! HE GAVE HER A MASK!! I wonder what happens? If you do get it I must borrow it! I love GG!!

Heh. There should just be a rosie channel which airs all your fave shows when you want to watch them! The jumping was cool! They would make pretty icons. And definitely - if you ever feel like a trip down memory lane with GG season 1, let me know.

I know! Too many! She is resisting my attempts though! she refuses to watch TWW - she says she is not interested! House though, she loves House.

There should! I should just become rich so there is! I want GG now!!!! I think I might have to take you up on your offer after I get back, if I get it now I might not be able to give it back... which would just be tragic for you!

A friend was over and we watched House together - which meant I couldn't come on aus_house afterward! It was so super annoying! though now I'm watching Serenity bonus features. I love Joss.

Will watch it tonight - otherwise may be killed by thermy! Yeah, the money side is a definite plus.

I love that the creators openly admitted that they made the balcony just for easier storytelling! 'You're getting crumbs all over him!' - I love that line for some reason.

I missed last night's ep too - watching the cricket!! I might do the alternate watching thing to catch all the G/E goodness.

Aww. Hope you had a nice sleep! But heh - I was up before 8 too yesterday because I had a work training - so no sympathy there! And I couldn't get online last night either since my brother was using the computer. But eeee! You got to watch and see the bike and the kiss and the tea and most importantly, the balcony!

I ended up watching Serenity, all curled up in bed - stupid getting up early! No one should have to get up early! I'm doing the same shift tomorrow... I hate early mornings!

The bike was so cool! And the kiss! i missed the balcony! I saw the end but I missed the throwing of the stones and the actual seeing of the balcony! I love House! How dare people interupt me!

How early is your earliest shift? Mine is 9, though for uni, 8am lectures mean getting up at 6. Will you have to get up early when you're volunteering - I would think yes - how will you cope?!

Mine is 9 too! Its just so...early! I haven't gotten up that early in months! 8 am LECTURES! They expect your brain to funiction at that time?!?!!? Are they SIMPLE?

I'm trying not to think about the early mornings... though lack of computer will eman earlier nights I suppose!

Not yet! I was going to do it and then realised I was half way through an ep of VM so I couldn't stop taht and since then I just haven't had time! Stupid ocial life!

You must have always been half asleep in first period of school! It's good being so close to work, I can leave home and be there in less than five minutes. Even lecturers often realise that 8am [esp in Winter!] is so not cool. Oh well.

What exactly will you be doing in Kenya? I don't think I've ever asked you that!

Hmm. Social life. I understand what the two words on their own mean, but together. Cannot comprehend....
