I was thinking about usernames. no actually that's a lie - prillalar was thinking about them here and I just tagged along for the ride.

So anyhow, here I am thinking (shutup! its one of my lesser known talents) - and remembering and wondering, and even though I know this question has been asked a million times before, and your sick of it already BUT I haven't heard the answers and I, being extremely nosy, want to know.

How did you get your username? what's it mean to you now? would you/do you want to change it?

My username came about as a result of my father, who choose it *is all embarrassed*, being an extremely practical man and thought it best to show my cards upfront, as it were. When I came to LJ and thought to change it, it seemed so boring and SO me, but xanya insisted I remain so - she had always been xanya and I had always been rosiew and we would remain so.

come on, inquiring minds want to know.

Ever heard the expression "you're such a daisy"? It comes from "whoops-a-daisy" etc. Kind of means you are a bit dippy or silly. Well, people say it to me all the time. It's not that I'm stupid. I just need time to get sarcasm. And I'm not that good at common sense real life stuff. I'm also incredibly naive about pretty much everything. Too trusting...all that. Hence, you might as well just call me daisy. Hence the name. I have never thought about changing it, because I kind of love it.

Heee! I always thought your name was awesome and I love it even more now! I was always thing, gah! my name is so boring and I was kinda, maybe thinking of changing it - until I just stop thinking it - I could never change it now, its who I am.

Hehe, I'm the reason for rosiew! Wow, that makes me feel so influential.

Hmm... how did my name come about... hmm... there's a hard one!

I think it has somethign to do with me being quiet a huge fangirl and being extremely enamoured of Anya/Xander and VOILA xanya was born. I also think it's a pretty word, and it's something that people can call you... like, if your username were i_love_alias then people couldn't really call you that, but xanya's like a name, so they can. Yeah.

Your the one who got me into LJ in the first place! And I remember you commanding that I couldn't change it because that’s just who we where, you were always xanya and I was always rosiew - from ff.net to immortal to LJ and I'm so glad you command me so! Who would I be if I wasn't rosiew?

I think of you, in my head, as either xanya or Twinness and on the rare occasions Meals - because that who you ARE! xanya describes you to a T - a shippy fangirl through and through.

Oooh, out long history of internet haunts. How much did we make immortal the best place EVER? Remember when Lee just shut it? I was so annoyed. Idiot. HANGMAN FOR EVER!! That's where we first became Twinnesses, so it will live forever in my heart... it will be immortal (heh, pun totally intended).

I know! I think of you as Twinness or rosiew and sometimes Rose (mainly when I have to talk to REAL PEOPLE - ugh) and I woudln't have it any other way.
