Aug. 10th, 2006 10:20 pmGah! Updating is so beyond exhusting, you have to.... you know, type, and stuff. Plus also nothing much going on - well besides work, which is just too boring to update on, I mean their are customers and beer and smoothies and small children. Hmm though not those three items mixed together, that would be most unfun. So yeah - working, and working and working. Oh! One exciting thing - appartently I'm a natural born Bar Wench - which ofcourse is my most desired ambition now fulfilled! ALL BOW DOWN BEFORE ME AND MY BEER POURING SKILLS!!
On Friday while doing a clearout of my room I found evidence of my first internet fangirl experience. Printed out pages of one Very Bad Mary Sue fic, a very short Harry!Stalking!Snape fic and typed up pages of passages from the first book. The Mary Sue was the first fanfic I read, before I lost interest and left the internet until I rediscovered Buffy and sort to find fuel to feed my new obsession. So. Very. Amusing.
On the Kenya front it looks like I will be heading back over in Janurary with a couple of the other volunteers. We need to be there too do anything directly for our kids. I'm looking foward/dreading getting back there. I'm still reeling from the infomation dump last Monday night, still haven't heard anything back from Unicef and am trying to compose a letter to The Age. Fun times!
Oh! Oh! In TV news, Crossing Jordan starts back here next Tuesday, after a year and a half absense. THIS IS THE MOST EXCITING THING EVER!!! Almost equal to me having seen half of SEASON SEVEN OF THE WEST WING!! Oh! My! God!... That is about my reaction. Because *dies* So. Much. Love/Hurt. Also Amazon has shipped S2 of Dead like Me and VM is released in 13 days!!! Which means I have like a month to wait until I get it!! I am the MOST EXCITED EVER!!
