So I need some adddddvice. Some music player advice! Roll up! Roll up! Or something similar in effect. 

So, heres the story - I had a gum stick ishuffle - I had it for two years and was okayly satified with it, it played music - I liked playing music - it was a beautiful friendship. But then it died, because it's stupid. Now I have no music playing portable device (even my old discman doesn't like me anymore! Or rather doesn't like the number 9 - the track on any cd it REFUSES to play) so I'm without music when I go awandering - it TRAGIC.

So a new music player device is neeeeeeded as of now. Ipods and I don't play well anymore - I'm considering an iRiver or a Creative or Zen - opinions? Advice? MY EARS NEED YOU.

No advice, sadly, because all I have is an iPod, but I had to agree about Rufus. I would give him my heart if only he weren't gay.

Do you know what is really sad? I don't have any heroes icons! TRAGIC. I have cigerettes and chocolate milk stuck in my head - SO THE BEST EVER. Like your ipod?

That is sad! Completely wrong. Heroes is taking over my icons.

I like my iPod pretty well. I have a pretty old model though, and from what I can tell the new ones are pretty fantastic.

I know you said you were steering clear of the Pod world, but the new models are actually pretty good. I've been stalked and betrayed by iPod in the past; my first broke huffily, then the replacement one didn't like that it was a replacement, so it broke huffily too. They were the original style, but the one I have now, a 30G in the newer model, is very very friendly.

Everything that is at all technological breaks if I enter the same room as it, so 'mepod' is doing well.
