Jun. 18th, 2005 11:00 pmI’ve been in a very ranty mood today and have subjected my family to many an outburst, mostly on the Australian politics - the crumbling state of Australia’s democracy, the weak leadership of Kim Beasley, how July 1st will see the end of a fair system and a few shouts about the amended immigration policy and how finally something is happening abut the unfairness of out detention system.
Then I moved on to a rant about the stupidness of censoring music, the annoyingness of spoilers and peoples attitudes to them, about Channel 7, and that sometimes being too sensitive is more a hindrance then a help.
My poor sister had to sit through the last lot – all she wanted to do was complete the crossword but she had to sit and be amused by my seemly never ending, rambling rants.
On another note my grandad is sick, which sucks. Mum’s gone up to help him out for while but hopefully it’s not too serious. *crosses fingers*
ETA I think I might have destroyed the ozone layer and killed off half the cockroach population in the world in one go. Go me! Bug spray is an evil, glorious invention and really shouldn't be left anywhere near me, I hate bugs, they’re all... dirty and have too many legs and they amass in my kitchen. (Oh quiet you! I can be a clean, germ freak if I like! *g*)
