The conversation started off like this:

older gentleman: excuse me young lady, sorry to bother you - could you point me in the direction of building 201?

and ended like this:

older gentleman: and so I went in to get my hernia's repaired and got a flesh eating disease!

I am never telling anyone I am a nursing student ever again.

Ha. What? You don't like it when people/patients share? :P

I don't mind patients! Random old examiner dudes in the carpark at uni is just weird! and distubing! and not what I needed to hear with seven hours of editing ahead (interrupted by a skills lab in breast and testicular examinations! no mercy today!)

Eeek! That is just a little bit awkward. I usually just get abused when I tell people I'm a Journalism Student. You know 'bloody journalists, never tell the truth, blah blah blah'. Annoying but not as icky as yours.

I was like 'oh, thats unfortunate. Lucky you were in a good hospital hey? oh! Here is building 201! See you and uh... good luck with that! Seriously lets start a 'Leave Me the Fuck Alone About My University Course' club, we will call it LMF*AAMUC for short, we can get jackets.

Hee. I seriously want a jacket like that now. Especially for the amusement when people ask what it stands for.

could it be a plaid jacket? with elbow pads? or like the pink ladies jacket! though writing that just makes me think of people who clean out period bins - oh! gross thought!

Ok, I saw all for a Pink Ladies jacket until you said that about the period bins. Ick. So, I think we'll stick with plaid for now.

I'm sorry for ruining the pink ladies idea - but plaid is so classy that it makes up for it - we could be mini!giles!

Is it safe to admit that I've never really watched Buffy? Totally not my fault though; my mother was super Christian and against any shows like that so I wasn't allowed. The random episodes I've seen (like the musical one!) were pretty awesome though. One day I will watch it properly.

I guess I won't attack you with a stick for mentioning that - because I'm understanding and stuff. But you have to watch it! Seriously - just for Giles tweed! and the 90s outfits!

Thank you, I appreciate that. It's too late at night for stick beatings. And like I said, it was totally not my fault! It will definitely happen one day cos I know I'll love it. Maybe I'll make it my summer project - cos it's going to take me a while to get through!

YES! YES! I think that is a great plan! I approve! you should lj your reactions - if I was in Melbourne I would do the rewatch at the same time!

That must be beyond irritating - I don't understand dumb people, I think a good culling is in order. Also see above for entry into The LMF*AAMUC Club, you are welcome to join - I'm President but you can fight Megs out for Vice if you like! (Be my Sarah Palin!)

Well yes, of course, thats a given - though nearly everyone is better then Sarah Palin, especially someone who I have chosen to duke it out for the spot as my VP.

Hmmm...I think I'll avoid the duking and concede. Being VP sounds too hard anyway. How about I just be team mascot or something? Hee.

Team Mascot? What would you dress up as? Wouldn't ou rather the role of Press Secretary? Or ven lovable temp?

Hmmm, I suppose you're right. Press Secretary holds a lot more weight than Mascot. Plus then I can be all awesome and witty like CJ.

Too true. I've realised I have too many (but really, can there be too many?) TV idols. No one in real life lives up to their standards.

I don't you can have too many, plus tv rol models don't disppoint you like real ones do - also who is a better female role model then CJ?

Good point there. And it's true, no one is better than CJ. (I need a CJ icon! Damn my measly 15 userpics)

Oh so pretty! I watch West Wing a lot last year with the teacher I lived with and she would get all interested in the politics and I would just be sitting there going 'look how pretty CJ is today'. It was pretty hilarious.
